The Endeavour Maritime Career Springboard Programme is a 7-week maritime training and career development initiative for Bermudian youth ages 16 and older who are seeking employment and interested in a maritime career. Offered in partnership with the Bermuda College Athora Division of Professional and Career Education (APACE).
Programme objectives are to increase exposure to maritime industry career pathways, and enhance employability skills for local youth to start a career in the maritime industry.
Participants have the opportunity to gain internationally-recognised professional qualifications in sailing and powerboat instruction, marine first aid, marine VHF radio communication, and more!
Participants benefit from interactive career days that enhance their exposure to career knowledge and insights such as how and where to apply for jobs, and tips to be successful in their goal to secure gainful employment in the maritime sector. As well as they build their network in the maritime industry both locally and overseas. Hands-on workshops help participants to boost their resume writing and interview preparation skills.
